About the event

A human being is a part of the whole, called by us "Universe", a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest — a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty. Nobody is able to achieve this completely, but the striving for such achievement is in itself a part of the liberation and a foundation for inner security.

Everyone is alone… everyone is alone when we are born, everyone is alone when we die; we are dust and to dust we shall return. Being alone can be frightening and terrifying like the darkness what makes you feel it will swallow you up.  We’re all searching for the things we don’t know. We’re all bumbling around, blind and in the dark, hands held out in front of us, waiting for something to hit upon the light. But how can we know ourselves if we have never been alone? Why are we afraid of being alone? Will it make you feel lonely?

If we are alone that doesn’t mean we are lonely. Giving time for ourselves to know us better and learn how to deal with things in our head.

Find the loudness in our head, what hurts us, what makes us feel how we feel sometimes, learn how to make up our mind to deal with all the scars what we have been through and study, examine the way we can heal. Agree with ourselves, see how we are and just accept that we are this way and find your inner peace to find happiness.

We can kick and scream and love and cry as much as we please to find the light in the end of the tunnel. The way to find to give time for self care, to think, to discover more of ourselves, put ourselves in situations where we get into adventures, risk to push our boundaries.

After all we have picked ourselves up. Dusted ourselves off. Tied our shoes again, straightened our shirts, kept on moving and stumbling and dancing through the dark. We know ourselves. We know what we are capable of. We know what we are worth.

All that time we spend discovering ourselves is worth the fear.
